m law group, the Munich technology law firm, advised its long-term client, Strube Group, in its latest acquisition of Maribo Seed Espana S.A.U., from Nordic Sugar A/S, a subsidiary of Nordzucker AG, Braunschweig.

Strube Group is one of the leading international breeders and distributors of sugar beets. Strube also breeds and distributes seeds of summer and winter wheat as well as triticale and winter rye.

With the acquisition of Maribo Seed Espana, Strube extends its product portfolio to breeding and distributing of sunflower seeds. Maribo Seed Espana breeds and internationally distributes sunflowers for more than 10 years.

The company, with branches in Madrid and Aranzueque, will operate under the name of Strube Espana.
